if you read my post yesterday then you know that is was a challenging day for me. a day that i look at now the laugh about because it was more of a comedy show then anything. but, i survived & that is what is important.

helping me put the events of yesterday into perspective was a phone call i got from a dear friend of mine last night. the type of friend who even though we don't talk often we are close & have no trouble picking up where we left off the last time.
********
about 2 or 3 years ago i encouraged this friend to do something that would one help me out & two it would possibly be useful to them in the future. my friend followed through with this & was a huge help to me in several situations. last night my friend took the time to call me & thank me for encouraging them several years ago. because of me my friend has been able to branch out & grow their business in ways they never thought possible.

even though our conversation was short it meant a lot to me that my friend took the time to call & say 'Thank You'. i think that sometimes we all forget how much those two simple words can mean to another person.
********
so, today i challenge you to take the time to say 'Thank You' to someone who has helped you out or influenced your life in some way. it might just mean the difference between an ok day and a great day for that person.
