weekend to dos

i don't think there are enough hours in the weekend
to get everything done that i want to.
someone said to me yesterday that she needed a
6 day weekend.
i couldn't agree more.

i have to work (at my regular job) Saturday so that
really cuts into the sewing time.

oh well, life goes on........

this weekend i will finish up the baby quilt i started
last weekend.
start prepping some projects for an up-coming quilt camp.
work on a V-day quilt for my adorable niece.

i also need to meet up with a fellow quilter and swap our block boxes.

maybe even get a new bag started......

i am exhausted just typing it..... i had better get started.....

past weekend

i spent this past weekend sewing & shopping.

i am thinking bags of some sort.

pattern yet to be determined.

i completed 2 blocks for Cancer Is Sew Done.

its an awesome group and everyone should check it out.

i also made this coupon clutch designed by Julie from Jaybird Quilts.

i also made a set of pillow shams for an irish chain quilt i made,

worked on some blocks from Fat Quarter Shop designer mystery block of the month,

and i worked on an embroidery project from The Buggy Barn.

also, on a none quilting related issue

Dave Matthews Band announced their summer tour date.

looking forward to Boise and the Gorge.

just the beginning

i am starting this to have a place to journal about

my quilting adventures or mis-adventures whatever

the case my be.

i have been sewing forever and love fabric and quilting.

i am currently working on a baby quilt for a co-worker's

sister - just need to finish the quilting and then bind it.

i will post a pic when it is finished.
